The word to describe what the United States is doing in Libya is ‘war.’  The word to describe the language the administration is using to talk about what they are doing in Libya is ‘Orwellian.’  

Incidentally, System of a Down had a great tune about this back in, fuck, ‘98: ‘Of war, we don’t speak any more’ indeed.
